We sold our house! In February David and I decided that we wanted to build a new home with my company, Edge Homes. So we listed our house for sale around March 5th. After two weeks and several showings, we received an offer! We accepted with a proposed close date of April 25th. As time progressed, the buyers asked if they could move in a week early. We were happy to oblige. We moved out on April 14th and in with David's parents in Provo. We signed and closed yesterday, April 20th! I was so nervous the whole time that the offer would fall through so I didn't really tell very many people. Now that it is a done deal, I can tell everyone without cursing the deal!
In the meantime, we have made all our color selections on the new house. We just received approval from the HOA on our exterior colors so now the home is being engineered. Once that is done, we will submit to the city for a permit and then we can dig! We are hoping to move in at the end of August. The new house is going to be just down the street and around the corner from our old house. We wanted to stay in the same area. We are super excited!
Goodbye first house! It was a bit sad that last time I walked in to see it all empty and to say goodbye!

We were in our first house just 18 months and the third house for over 27 years. You have much to look forward to.
How exciting! And how quick this is all happening. Can't wait to see the new place. Best of luck over the next few months.
I'm sorry we won't be around to help you move into your new house. Plus I really wanted to see what your 2nd home will look like, so you better give us another house tour once you're slightly settled in.
